Other customers have turned their prints into different fantastic looking products such as aprons, wash bags and tote bags.

If you don’t have your own design you can choose a coated print from our open range of over 60 x designs available in several colour options. If you are looking for a particular style of print just let one of our team know and we will send you a swatch in the post. The fabrics come on the roll and has a fabric width of 128cm.

Digitally Printed Fabric Samples

Here are some sample prints on the various fabrics we can offer. Lots of customers find it hard to visualise how their design will look on different fabrics so here are some examples of different sample prints we have recently completed. We can offer re-colouring of existing designs, plus you can place different prints on small samples to make the best use of the fabric. A good example of this are the kitchen designs for Jamie Oliver, grouping several designs on the one print run.

One question we get asked all the time is what is the difference between the different print techniques we offer and why do we have the different options. Our customer base is so varied and which is why we offer the different print options. From printing camouflage for the military to high end fashion and furnishing to bespoke contract fabrics we really do now have a fabric for all print requirements.

Pigment printing on cottons and linens. This is ideal for furnishing printing for curtains and cushions and allows us to print on really nice linens and cottons plus we can use the colour of the fabric as the background shade of the print. Pigment printing gives a really good print mark and is a dry clean only product. Pigment prints are printed directly onto the fabric and are then baked to fix the colour and it is a very user friendly way of printing small runs and we can offer any minimum on pigments also we have a wide range of cottons and linens to choose from.

Reactive printing on cottons and linens. HTS can now offer reactive printing on cottons and linens and these prints can also be used for furnishing prints. As the prints can be washed, reactive prints can be used for apparel and garment printing. It offers printing on much finer fabrics such as cotton lawn and voiles and the colour range can print really bright colours. The reactive dyes are printed into the structure of the fabric, it is then steamed to fix the print and then has to be washed and finished. Because of the finishing process we have a 10 x metre minimum order on reactive prints.

Disperse printing on synthetic fabrics. Man made fabrics are becoming really popular for printing and our bespoke collection has lots of really nice looking fabrics. The advantage of printing on these fabrics is that the durability of the print and fabric is fantastic which allows us to print on fabrics which are on inherently flame retardant and can be installed in hotels, schools, and restaurants etc. The range of fabrics is quite remarkable from deckchair canvas to really nice poly/cottons for cushions.

HTS are now printing on technical waterproof membranes including Sympa Tex and Gore Tex fabrics with really great results. It’s a great way to give an outdooor garment or product a totally unqiue look by printing your design on the base fabric. The fabric is a base shade of white and we print the colours dependant on design.

The above pictures are a really good example of the advantages of digital printing. You can print engineered designs such as borders and you can place the design work exactly where you want in the fabric width. There is no limit to the number of colours you use for digital printing, which allows designers to create really fantasic pieces of artwork. Black can be a difficult colour to print digitally but you can see the results speak for themselves.
